Insurance & Fees

  • ​Insurance providers I work with: Aetna, Cigna, Optum, United Health Care.

  • Cash, check and credit card payments accepted.

  • Clients can claim their own out-of-network benefits.

  • Insurance co-pays vary by plan and will be verified to determine co-pay.

  • The cash fee is $145 per 50-55 minute session.

  • If you have questions about your policy or co-pay, I encourage you to contact the Mental Health Benefits number on your insurance card.

Appointments & Cancellations

  • Please remember to cancel or reschedule 24 hours in advance. You will be responsible for a late cancellation/no show fee of $85 if cancellation is less than 24 hours.

  • If a client does not arrive within 15 minutes of their scheduled appointment the therapist acknowledges this as a missed/no show appointment. I am unable to charge insurance for said session and will change the account on file $85.

  • If a client cancels a session after having met for less than 30 minutes you will be charged a partial cancellation fee of $85, as I cannot bill insurance for sessions less than 30 minutes.

  • The standard meeting time for psychotherapy is 53 minutes. It is up to you, however, to determine the length of time of your sessions. Requests to change the 53-minute session needs to be discussed with the therapist in order for time to be scheduled in advance and is dependent on your insurance coverage.

  • A $30.00 service charge will be charged for any checks returned for any reason for special handling.

  • Cancellations and re-scheduled sessions will be subject to a charge of $85 if NOT RECEIVED AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE and if you do not arrive for your session within 15 minutes of your session’s time, unless prior arrangements have been made. This is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you.
